Chi Omega Philanthropy
Philanthropy is a huge priority of Chi Omega National Fraternity and specifically Nu Chapter. For years, Nu Chapter has hosted Dodge for Wishes, an all campus Dodge Ball tournament. We are proud of the donations we have made to the Make-a-Wish foundation because of this event. However, this November of 2007, in an effort to revamp our annual philanthropy, Nu Chapter hosted the first annual Walk it out for Wishes. This fashion show featured dozens of models from Chi O, other sorority, and fraternity organizations on the UW Madison campus, all of who wore clothing donated by various local Madison boutiques. This event was well attended by the entire chapter, Chi Omega families, and other members of the Greek Community. The evening was classy, fabulous, and successful. We are proud to announce that our funds rose for the Make-a-Wish foundation increased nearly six-fold. Walk it out for Wishes 2007 marked the beginning of a "Nu" legacy and Walk it out for Wishes 2008 is in the works!
